Project Overview

National Day Parade is one of Singapore’s major national events, bringing together large numbers of attendees for the previews and the main celebration. With invited attendees passing through designated entry points, security screening plays an important role in maintaining safety while keeping queues and crowd movement orderly.

AP supported these operations across all 3 events, with security officers assigned to personnel check stations, X-ray screening, and related screening duties.

Challenge

Screening large volumes of attendees across three event days required thorough security checks while keeping entry points moving efficiently and minimising delays.

Approach

AP coordinated the deployment of 180 security officers across personnel check stations and X-ray screening points, with manpower allocated to support the expected flow of attendees at each event.

Outcome

AP successfully supported screening operations across the two previews and the live event on 9 August 2026. The coordinated deployment helped maintain secure entry procedures while supporting the orderly movement of attendees into the event.
